Changed or unchanged, re-created or not, it's still my icon there. And the reason I used a drawing of myself for it is because I wanted to be unique. I guess that would be the same reason for you, right? Right now, I don't think our icons look very unique. No matter how much you "re-created" mine, it still looks like it.
Now, I'm not saying you should change it MORE, so it wouldn't look like my icon.
