A fake manga cover for the first volume of Nanairo. :'3If you were wondering, no. I didn't get Copic markers. It's a Copic marker textured brush you can download here~ :3 I did my best to make it look like the traditional manga illustrations, but I failed at the lineart. :C Bah. I don't care. I loved how the coloring came out. So traditionally messy. :'D OH YEAH AND HERE'S A NEW LOGO. O: I dunno...I kinda like it. I might keep it. :'3 uhhh don't know what else to say. Critiques
I also like the small Volume One logo design at the bottom. It fits this character and cover.
Originality: This looks to be very orginial, and not copied from someone else's work. The character is different from any manga characters I've seen. The cover has a different style than other covers as well. Like the title is at the top, and the pose and background are unique. Great job.
Technique: I'm assuming/guessing you made this in photoshop. So based on that, I love the special brush that makes it look as if you used Copic markers. That's really cool. I also love how the logo is set up. The rainbow colors and designs for each letter. I like how each seem to have a different 'element' in th design (fire, water, ect.).
Impact: Overall I'd say that this cover seems flawless. Obviously nothing is perfect, but I can't find anything to nag or nit-pick about. So overall, it's an amazing cover. The character looks different and unique, the title and layout of the page is wonderful. And the background just makes everything better.
Wonderful job. Can't wait to see more Nanariofrom you in the future . (:
